Group Leader- Project Based

Purpose of role

This position is an open working opportunity to all IT graduates with leadership skills. This role will be part of the leadership team who will support the Platforms to mentor and monitor the part-time employees. We are hiring part-timers (students) who will have the opportunity to learn latest technology and experience working on modern industry projects and tools. Group Leader of the Part-timers (students) will work closely with Platform Leaders on the Part-timers training, mentoring and monitoring tasks.

Job role and responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks assigned by DDC Head and Platform Leader/Mentor (i.e., but not limited to):
    • Performance monitoring
    • Absenteeism Report
    • Reports and documentations
    • Administrative related tasks
  • Provide suggestions for continual improvement and contribute fresh ideas for performance management tasks/topics
  •  Support Student Development Program Team in completing the timelines of the program

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related courses.
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ work experience in IT related positions
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience
  • With experience working as part of Project Team communicating timelines and processes with Stakeholders and Project Team Members
  • Strong written, and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Office 365 – Emails Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
  • Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
