Job Role and Responsibilities:
The duty of the Senior Project Coordinator is to lead and manage the execution of the development and deployment requirements of small projects.
Development of the execution plan based on the scope, budget and objectives.
Mobilization of the team for a new Feature Enhancement or New Market Deployment. This includes:
- ensuring that the right skills and team capacity is in place;
- ensuring that the business understand what is required of it and key people in the business are brief and understand what is expected of them;
- ensuring that everyone on the project understands their roles;
- ensuring that everyone on the project understands the timeline and milestones that the project is working to;
- ensuring that any risks, issues and dependencies are discussed and known.
Leadership in the execution of the Feature Enhancement / New Market Deployment, including:
- breaking down the deliverables into milestones and tasks for each of the delivery teams.
- assigning tasks and milestones to each team.
- coordinating different teams to ensure information is flowing correctly.
- ensuring teams understand dependencies, managing the sprits and scums.
- monitoring task and milestone completion.
- flagging delays / risks/ issues
Scope of work:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Developing project strategies.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in project management or a related role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
- Good problem-solving skills – analytical, innovative, and has a creative mindset
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment
- Extremely tech savvy, able to pick up new software and applications quickly
