Power BI Manager

Purpose of Role

We are seeking a highly-skilled Power BI Manager – Power BI to lead a team and oversee our Power BI reporting platform. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality reports while working closely with cross-functional teams to develop processes that facilitate the effective use of the platform.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Oversee the Power BI reporting platform, guaranteeing the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and guarantee alignment with business needs.
• Develop and maintain data models to support reporting requirements.
• Create and upkeep comprehensive documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and data definitions.
• Identify areas for improvement in reporting processes and implement innovative solutions, with input from team members.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data reporting and visualization, encouraging team growth

Skills And Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
• 5+ years of experience in data reporting or a related field
• Proven experience managing a Power BI reporting platform
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success in team management and leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
