Purpose of Role

We are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead our EPC team that includes Parts Interpreters, SQL Developers, and Data Analysts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consolidating product data from numerous platforms into a common platform, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop processes to support effective EPC management. This involves large & complex datasets supporting the automotive industry.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Parts Interpreters, SQL Developers, and Data Analysts in the consolidation of EPC data into a common platform.
• Develop and maintain data models & schemas to support business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and ensure that datasets meets business needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, data sources, and data definitions.
• Recruit, mentor, develop and train team members.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address them.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in EPC & product catalogue management.

Skills And Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science or data science
• 5+ years of experience in Catalogue management or related field.
• Experience leading a team of functional and technical members.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Project management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
