PURPOSE OF ROLE

Responsible for the testing of Salesforce developments and configurations. Create and document appropriated test cases from the functional requirements and conduct those tests internally and with end users. Perform integration, functional and regression testing regularly, recommending strategies to perform those tests.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Analyse and translate functional requirements to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives using Quality Centre/Team Foundation Server and other tools.

2 Actively participate in requirements reviews, gain an understanding of functional specifications. Responsible for creation, design and execution of test strategies, including writing test plans, test cases and test scenarios and Identify as many defects as possible to deliver a quality product to our client.

3 Analyse Functional Requirements and Business Specification as part of Testing on earliest stages of SDLC.

4 Perform all aspects of verification, including integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing.

5 Participate in production validation and support as needed.

6 Hands on experience with Salesforce Automation like Workflow, Process builder, Assignment rules, Escalation rules, Email templates, etc.

7 Working with standard Salesforce objects like Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities etc.

8 To work with product owners in reviewing and highlighting application process defects and suggests corrective actions.

9 Create effective test data to ensure successful testing in the production environment.

10 Executing Application deployment along with post deployment and sanity steps. Perform application validation and execute test scenarios.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1 Functional and Performance Testing of CRM Applications such as Salesforce.com

2 Knowledge of SOA approach, SCRUM approach/methodologies

3 Maintained and Debugged the Framework to ensure the smooth execution and result analysis of Test Suites

4 Involved in Development of Test Automation Frameworks for Web Applications.

5 Debugging and fixing of errors in already created test cases.

6 Analysing the results and Certification of baselines for each created test cases using ALM.

8 End to end execution of automated scripts.

9 Developing and maintaining test automation scripts for different E-learning and Salesforce domain websites in java using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and Maven, for testing of HTML UI elements
