Business Analyst

Our core business is distribution in emerging markets, whereby we are exclusively responsible for an auto manufacturer’s sales and brand from the factory gate to the end sale in a specific country. This includes logistics, advertising & marketing, customer experience and retail.

Key Responsibilities

Operationalized Product

  • They review a product from multiple angles/perspectives and act as a SME of the product. They partner with the Product Manager to understand a product’s strength, weaknesses, how it can be improved and generate actionable insights.
  • They may also advise on scope, requirements, user stories and minimum viable product to maximize value.
  • Also gives out training around the product and building capability.

Documenting Scoping & Requirements

  • One of the biggest responsibilities involves documenting requirements. This may involve creating user stories and then reviewing them to ensure that all business rules are covered. This also includes managing mapping requests with/without SME.

Accessing Solutions and Analyzing process gaps

  • They champion standardization, simplification, and automation of businesses processes as part of the product development and deployment process.
    They ensure that the right questions are being asked and decisions are being made based on research.
    They ask, “What internal business challenges will we face for this project? What technical restraints do we have and how can I document them for the team to digest? What risks are known.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in business analytics/data analytics/business intelligence
  • Worked with tools like PowerBI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Good problem-solving skills – analytical, innovative, and has a creative mindset
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of descriptive & predictive Statistics, SQL, Python, VBA, Salesforce is a plus
