Purpose of Role:
Inchcape is a leading global player in the automotive services sector operates in the distribution, retail and logistics markets.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our expanding testing capability and work on a very innovative and exciting product for the automotive industry.
As an Agile Business Analyst for our E-commerce Platform, you will be responsible for working with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. You will analyze and document business requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, and work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and prioritize features.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for development
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback on product features
- Conduct analysis of user data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to identify and prioritize requirements for the E-commerce platform
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Provide input on technical design and ensure that the product meets business requirements
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Continuously monitor the product to ensure that it meets customer needs and expectations
- Support the development team with testing and quality assurance efforts as needed
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms and related technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira)
- Knowledge of software development processes and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
