SAP Security Specialist

Purpose of Role

The Security Specialist role will support SAP Security operation across all Inchcape’s markets.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Scope:

  •  Identify and apply procedures, processes and guidelines focused on the quality and aligned to the
    Corporate Security Standards.
  •  Do basic tasks over users and roles in SAP systems.
  • Generate standard SAP Security reports.

Strategy & Planning

  • Support the improvement of Team’s internal processes

Operational Management:

  • Support the Service Request and Incident Management Processes.
  • Create, Modify and Deactivate users in SAP environments.
  • Assign or Unassign roles in SAP environments.

Formal Education & Certification:

  • University degree in the field of computer science, management information systems or a related discipline.

Skills And Experience Required:

Knowledge and Experience

  •  SAP Security Technical Experience with understanding of Authorization Concepts, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Risk Analysis and Role Remediation.Experienced in working for Full Life Cycle Implementation. Go-Live, Post Go-Live, and Production Support projects.
  •  Extensive experience in Requirement gathering. Design, Development, and Maintenance of SAP applications security.
  • Interfaced extensively with clients to gain insight and develop solutions to meet customer business needs across the entire SAP landscape.
  •  Extensive User and Role maintenance experience.
  •  Knowledge of IAS / BTP / BPC / SAP PORTAL

  •  Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
  •  Ability to write & present technical & design documents.
  • Able to conduct research into issues and products as required, and document outcomes.
  •  Strong customer service orientation

Work Conditions

  • Rotating shifts including night shifts and weekends.
